Voices from the mohalla

When the floods took our ground floor, the relief kit reached us in two days. Knowing brothers in the Gulf stood with us meant everything.

Imtiaz, ChiplunFlood-affected resident

I pay my membership from Kuwait every month. I can open the app and see exactly where it goes — that trust is why I never miss it.

Salim, KuwaitMember & trustee

My daughter could continue college because of the scholarship. May Allah reward everyone who gives.

About Bahadurshaikh Mohalla

A Konkani Muslim neighbourhood on the banks of the Vashishti in Chiplun — its history, its houses and the families who care for it from across the Gulf.

Who we are

About Us

Bahadur Shaikh Welfare Society unites people from our hometown who now live and work across the Gulf. Each month, members contribute a small membership in their local currency. Together, those contributions fund schools, water, healthcare and emergency relief back home.

Every collection and expense is recorded and visible to members — so trust is never a question. The dot in our name marks that quiet bond between the village and its people abroad.

Transparency

Funds, allocations and expenses — all openly accounted in INR.

Member-led

Projects begin only after more than half of members approve.

Local roots

Pay in your Gulf currency; impact delivered at home.
